Confronting The Shadow Stallion - Legend of the Dragon (2005) Season 2

 The Golden Dragon #1:
So, still, think my idea was lame?

The Golden Dragon #2:
All right, I'll say it. Otherwise, he'll never shut up. You were right, okay?

The Golden Dragon #1:
It's a start, but I think I am entitled to a lot more grovelling.

The Shadow Wolf:
I'm afraid that will have to wait.

The Golden Dragon #1:
For what?

The Shadow Wolf:
Him.

The Golden Dragon #2:
Let me guess. The Shadow Horse Guardian?

"Tex":
Guardian, yes, but not simply a horse. As you will see when I kick you out of my temple. Empower the Shadow Stallion!

The Golden Dragon #1:
Whoah. Easy there!

The Golden Dragon #2:
Whoah?

The Golden Dragon #1:
Well ...

The Golden Dragon #2:
Listen. We're not here to fight you.

The Shadow Stallion:
Two Golden Dragons and a ...

The Shadow Wolf:
Shadow Wolf.

The Shadow Stallion:
Then you serve The Emperor. How can you stand with Golden Dragons?

The Shadow Wolf:
Long story. Bottom line, I don't serve anyone. My job is to maintain the balance between yin and yang, and that is what they are fighting for too.

The Golden Dragon #1:
So we came to find out whose side you're on.

The Shadow Rat:
The Emperor and I have been wondering about that ourselves. What's it going to be, "Tex?" White hat or black? Shadow or ... (yawning) boring light?

The Shadow Stallion:
Neither. No matter what the colour, a mustang must run free.

The Shadow Rat:
Wrong answer.

The Golden Dragon #1:
Look out!

The Golden Dragon #2:
You dirty rat!

The Stallion Goes into Hiding - Legend of the Dragon (2005) Season 2

The Golden Dragon #1:
I'm really sorry about your temple.

The Shadow Stallion:
Well, at least I saved the shrine.

The Shadow Wolf:
The Emperor isn't likely to give up on trying to lasso you.

The Golden Dragon #2:
So, where will you go?

Master Chin:
This part of the world is alive with ancient ruins and mystical energies. I am certain the Shadow Stallion will find refuge.

The Shadow Stallion:
He's right. There's always Stonehenge or ... maybe I'll drop in for a visit at Loch Ness. The big guy gets kind of lonely down there, all by himself.

The Golden Dragon #2:
He can't mean?

The Golden Dragon #1:
Can he?

Legend of the Dragon (2005) Season 2 #6 - A Horse of a Different Colour

The Emperor Learns of The Shadow Horse Temple - Legend of the Dragon (2005) Season 2

The Emperor:
Do you sense it? A clash of yin and yang? A ripple in the fabric of the universe.

Yin Wi:
Uh, yeah, sure I sense it. I'm your sister ... remember?

The Emperor:
There are times I wish I could forget.

Yin Wi:
Haha. So funny I wish I'd remembered to laugh. So tell me, big brother, what are the "golden goodies" up to now?

The Emperor:
They have done me a great service by finding the hidden temple of The Shadow Horse. The Shadow Stallion has resisted my call, but now I know where to find him, I shall reign him in and use his power to crush the Golden Dragons.

Yin Wi:
Well, let's hope you have better luck with this shadow nag than you had with that mangy lapdog.

The Emperor:
Not I. You.

Yin Wi:
Err.. Oh, come on, I hate riding. And I really hate hey. And don't get me started on horse manure.

The Emperor:
ENOUGH! You will do as I command.

Yin Wi:
Yeah, yeah, little sister has no rights. Okay, so, what's the plan?

The Emperor:
It is simple enough for even you to grasp. Bring me The Shadow Horse, and the rest of them will remain buried beneath White Horse Hill for eternity.

Yin Wi:
Works for me.

Legend of the Dragon (2005) Season 2 #6 - A Horse of a Different Colour

The Rise of The Phoenix King - Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005) Season 3 Script

EXT - THE FIRE NATION CAPITAL - DUSK

Servants and soldiers KNEEL on the ground as FIRE LORD OZAI is carried down the Royal Plaza in a palanquin. A second, transporting AZULA follows.

Ozai is calm, composed and imperial. Azula sits impatiently, arms folded. She sticks her head out the cloth-covered window, addressing the BEARERS.

AZULA:
Come on slowpokes! Faster!

The bearers break into a run, speeding to catch up with Ozai. The Fire Lord has already reached the steps, where an airship is ready and waiting for him.

A bearer holds the curtain open for Ozai, who descends regally from the box. He ascends the stairs, ignoring his personal guard, brandishing banners, as they stand expectantly at the foot.

Reaching the top, he is joined by an out of breath Azula. She rushes into a kneeling bow. He looks unimpressed by her flustered state.

AZULA: (cont'd)
Sorry I'm late, father. Good palanquin bearers are so hard to come by these days. So, is everything ready for our departure?

OZAI:
There has been a change of plans, Azula.

Azula's head snaps up at the remark.

AZULA:
What?

Ozai does not turn around continuing.

OZAI:
I've decided to lead the fleet of airships to Ba Sing Se alone. You will remain here in the Fire Nation.

AZULA:
But I thought we were going to do this together.

OZAI:
My decision is final.

Azula rises to her feet, indignant.

AZULA:
You ... you can't treat me like this! You can't treat me like Zuko!

OZAI:
Azula, silence yourself.

Ozai's eyes narrow. As he stares out to sea.

AZULA:
But it was my idea to burn everything to the ground! I deserve to be by your side!

Ozai snaps.

OZAI:
Azula!

Turning to give her a sharp glance over his shoulder. She drops her head immediately, falling silent.

OZAI:
Listen to me. I need you here to watch over the homeland. It's a very important job that I can only entrust to you.

AZULA:
Really?

Azula looks up, eyes widening in wonder.  Ozai faces her full-on. The first time this whole conversation.

OZAI:
And for your loyalty, I've decided to declare you the new Fire Lord.

AZULA:
Fire Lord Azula? It does seem appropriate ... but what about you?

Azula's excitement falters slightly, her tone unsure.

AZULA: (Cont'd)
 ... but what about you?

Ozai smirks.

OZAI:
Fire Lord Ozai is no more. Just as the world will be reborn in fire, I shall be reborn as the supreme ruler of the world.

He spreads his arms wide to allow two ATTENDANTS to place an elaborate cloak over his head; the material is deep red, and the shoulders are embossed with golden phoenixes. A third attendant places a helmet on his head, completing the look of the mythical bird.

Ozai's arms rise high in the air for all to see.

OZAI: (cont'd)
From this moment on, I will be known as ...  the Phoenix King.

At his command, new banners are unfurled from the mast of the airship. More banners emerge from the crowds, this time featuring the new emblem, adding to the mass of red and black of the Fire Nation's coat of arms.

Two soldiers clench their fits, using their fire bending to ignite the engine. Fire jets erupt from the mast.

Every onlooker from Harbour City bows as one, looking up reverently at the imposing sight.

Zuko Returns to Iroh - Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005) Season 3 Script

INT. IROH'S TENT, THE CAMP OF THE WHITE LOTUS - MORNING

ZUKO sits cross-legged on a rug, watching IROH as he snores loudly, his back to the entrance of the tent. He has not moved from the spot all-night.

Iroh, wakes and sits up, stretching deeply with a loud yawn. He glances over his shoulder, catching sight of his young nephew and turns away. His face drops, saddened.

Zuko sees his reaction and scrunched up his face, struggling to hold back tears.

ZUKO:
Uncle. I know you must have mixed feelings about seeing me. But I want you to know ...
(begins to cry)
I am so, so, sorry, Uncle. I am so sorry and ashamed of what I did. I don't know how I can ever make it up to you. But I'll-

Iroh whips around, pulling Zuko in a tight embrace. He is crying to. A smile forms on his lips.

ZUKO: (Cont'd)
(in shock)
How can you forgive me so easily? I thought you would be furious with me.

IROH:
I was never angry with you. I was sad because I was afraid you had lost your way.

Iroh CRADLES the back of Zuko's head with his hand.

ZUKO:
 I did lose my way.

Iroh lets go, pushing him back so he can look directly Zuko's face. The young prince averts his eyes from his uncle's gaze.

IROH
But you found it again. And you did it by yourself.

Zuko finally looks into Iroh's eyes. They are twinkling, brimming with tears and pride.

IROH: (cont'd)
And I am so happy you found your way here.

Iroh pulls him back into the hug, patting him on the back.

ZUKO:
It wasn't that hard, Uncle. You have a pretty strong scent.

Y'ellonn Martians - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

One of the four classes in The Martian Caste System, Y'ellonn (Yellow) Martians were highly respected in Martian Society because of their skin colour, denoting their dedication to the worship of spirituality, Martian religious orthodoxy, and commitment to the Martian Sorcerer Priesthood.

While no Martian was born Y'ellonn, anyone could permanently morph themselves if they felt a significant spiritual calling in life. To do this, new members underwent a special ceremony, helping them find a newfound acceptance of their Y'ellonn brethren outside the traditional bigotry shown towards them by other Castes; mainly the discriminatory and violent treatment of the G'arrunn (Green) and B'lahdenn to the A'ashenn (White) Martians.

Although all members of The Sorcerer Priesthood were Y'ellonn, not all Y'ellonn were gifted with sorcery, requiring aptitude and a real drive for academic study.

The Martian Sorcerer Priesthood - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

The religious order of the planet M'arzz (Mars), The Martian Sorcerer Priesthood was made up of Y'ellonn (Yellow) Martians devoted to the worship and traditions of Martian religious orthodoxy, and the Goddess of Life, C'eridy'all.

Magically gifted, they worked hard to master and control their natural abilities, throwing themselves into academic and scholastic studies. Between this and their constancy to their faith, they lived a life of solitude and celibacy.

In rare cases, those without a calling, but with innate magical abilities would seek the counsel of The Sorcerer Priesthood to help them learn to control their powers.

Recognised and eminently honoured in Martian Society, they transcended the hierarchic governance of The Martian Caste System, despite their community being made up of former A'ashenn (White), G'arrunn (Green), and B'lahdenn (Red) Martians.

While they are expected to remain apolitical and respect the Caste System, some members of their order have been known to perform rituals and ceremonies for mixed-race couples, a major taboo in Martian society. These are primarily carried out by those younger idealistic acolytes, wishing to see change, or by those older clergy who no longer fear the inevitable repercussions they would face.

As well as officiating weddings to every Caste, the Martian Sorcerer Priests also oversaw Ma'ayava'ana ceremonies, the tradition of building the crystal wedding canopy, blessing of the ceremonial altar, and birthday celebrations/coronations of monarchs.

On March 25th, 2020, they were tasked with celebrating the royal birthday of Prince J'emm J'axx, unaware that the A'ashenn extremist Ma'alefa'ak (M'comm M'orzz) had planted an Apokoliptan gene bomb beneath the royal arena that was primed to exterminate every G'arrunn and B'lahdenn.

Furthermore, that same day, the Priesthood were shocked to discover that one of their newest acolytes, S'yraa S'mitt, was responsible for the accidental murder of King S'turnn J'axx; the accelerating incident for increased inter-racial tensions and hostilities seen on M'arzz.

The Atlantean Conference - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

 POSEIDONIS, April 21, 09:58 UTC-2

Orin:
Was he really the best we could get?

Mera Nereus:
It was all I could do to get my father to send him.

Orin:
I hereby call this conference to order and welcome the delegate from Xebel. Bishop Beluga.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
King Nereus continues to mock us by sending one insignificant.

Lori Lemaris:
More experienced leaders would be here if Nanauve wasn’t killing them in raids staged across our borders.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
I’ll take that as a compliment.

Orin:
We have lost some of the old guard to recent battle.

Mera Nereus:
While others have voluntarily stepped down in accordance with our teachings and prophecies.

Orin:
We are here to discuss many issues, including increased hostility between our borders, and inside our algae bars. But we must remain civil if we hope to find solutions.

Lori Lemaris:
Nanauve’s incursions upon the territories …

Nanaue Sha'ark:
Our waters are warming, thanks to your surface friends, Orin. It’s killing my kingdom's krill, the backbone of our food chain. Nanauve must take more territory to survive.

Ronal:
Keep moving or die.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
Exactly!

Later…

Topo:
Climate change and pollution from the surface is devastating our oceans.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
Thought your embassy was supposed to fix that.

Garth:
It is my highest priority. But too many surface dwellers are foolish and stubborn, obsessed with short-term economic concerns that blind them to the larger issues facing our planet.

Calvin Durham:
We have larger issues down here. I left the surface world because a lack of opportunity created an anger which Black Manta was eager to exploit.

Ronal:
Yes, yes. We all know your history.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
How you betrayed Manta, took his woman, and raised his son as your own.

Kaldur’ahm:
Let me be clear, my biological father is immaterial. Calvin Durham is my father in every way that matters.

Ronal:
Indeed. For how else does a man of his low status and dubious history merit this table if not were he not father to the great Kaldur’ahm.

Lori Lemaris:
Ronal, can you please, for one minute stop being such a pompous codfish.

Ronal:
I … I’m sorry. I meant no offence.

Calvin Durham:
Everything said of me is true. My absence of options on land caused me to make bad choices. Now I see many of the same problems in Shayeris that I saw in my native San Diego. The wealth that begets opportunity, seen on easy display in Poseidonis is largely absent from the other cities.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
Aye, that we can agree on.

Orin:
I appreciate your directness, all of you. I will not pretend the way forward will be easy, but my Cabinet and I believe we have viable solutions if we work tog …

Young Justice: Phantoms (2021) Episode 14 - Nautical Twilight

Rodunn - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

The loving husband to both Coral and La'gaan, Rodunn was an expecting father, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child. As part of this tight-knit polyamorous thrupple, he lived by the collective words "we do not say goodbye," believing it to be insurance that they would always return to one another.

Outside of his family life, he was a member of The Royal Guard of Atlantis, stationed in the capital city-state of Poseidonis.

On duty during the first day of the annual Atlantean Conference, Rodunn was gravely injured during Ocean Master's surprise attack. Saved by Coral, who healed his wounds, Prime Minister Topo, Bishop Beluga, and his wife kept him out of harm’s way, while La'gaan joined the fight to chase his assailant off.

Despite his misgivings towards Orin and Kaldur'ahm's mission to search for the lost crown of Arion, fearing that La'gaan would miss the birth, he proudly supported his husband's decision to aid his friend and mentor.

On the 3rd of July 2020, Coral gave birth after going into labour earlier that day.

Beluga - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

Since graduating from The Conservatory of Sorcery, Beluga joined the Xebel clergy, raising through the ranks to become a bishop.

At the behest of his daughter Queen Mera of Atlantis, King Ryus Nereus appointed him to represent Xebel in the annual Atlantean conference, much to the displeasure of many delegates who saw the nomination of the bumbling diocesan to be yet another example of Nereus' contempt for his neighbouring city-states.

Considered low down in the pecking order, Beluga was continually talked over and dismissed by the emissaries and High King Orin.

Remaining with Topo, Coral and the unconscious Roduun during Ocean Master's onslaught of Poseidonis, he watched on in awe as a hooded stranger single-handed defeated the disgraced prince, forcing him to make a swift retreat.

A few months later, after witnessing the death of "Arion" on live tv and the announcement that Mera should be the next Annax of Atlantis, Beluga publicly agreed with the decision, concluding that the Queen of Poseidonis would be the best candidate to lead the underwater nation into a new age of peace and prosperity.

The Erdel Initiative - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

With the help of her sister M'gann M'orzz, Em’ree J’onzz was hired by STAR Labs Taos to work as a member of The Erdel Initiative, after the young Martian agreed to join M'gann and her uncle, J'onn, on their journey back to Earth.

Already extremely knowledgeable in the applied application of Zeta Beam technology, thanks to her time as both the Chief Scientist-Bureaucrat of M'arzz's Science Centre and head of the collaborative Zeta Project between Mars and Earth, M'gann thought this would be the perfect fit for her.

The Atlantis Confrence Opening Ceremonies - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

POSEIDONIS, April 20, 15:56 UTC-2

Mera Nereus: (In Atlantean)
We share a common tongue with many dialects. In the interest of ensuring there is no confusion between us, please allow me to bring us together.
“Tuto Indeti”

Orin:
Delegates of the great city-states of Atlantis, I welcome you to the opening ceremonies of our annual conference. Since we have new faces here, allow me to introduce my cabinet. Mera Nereus, Princess of Xebel, Queen of Atlantis, Headmistress of The Conservatory of Sorcery, and Minister of Magic. Vulko of Poseidonis, Minister of Science. Commander Ondine of Poseidonis, Minister of Security. Garth of Crastinus, Minister of Diplomacy. And Kaldur’ahm of Shayeris, Aquaman of The Justice League, and Minister of Justice.

And now, if the delegates would be so kind.

Ronal:
I am Lord Ronal of Crastinus in the Arctic Ocean.

Topo:
Prime Minister Topo of Lemuria in the North Pacific.

Coral:
Emissary Coral of Neptunos in the South Pacific.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
I am Nanaue Sha’ark, King of Nanauve and the Southern Ocean

Lori Lemaris:
General Lori Lemaris of Trionis in the Indian Ocean

Calvin Durham:
First Citizen Calvin Durham of Shayers in the North Atlantic.

Ronal:
And from Xebel in the South Atlantic… no one.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
Xebel insults us with this absence. I’m leaving.

Topo:
Seems a shame to depart without accomplishing anything.

Orin:
My friends, I am certain the delegate from Xebel will join us by the time the conference proper begins tomorrow. We did have plans for this day, but let us adjourn. We invite you all to sample the pleasures of Poseidonis.

Nanaue Sha'ark:
See how Orin flaunts the wealth of Poseidonis to shame us.

Orin:
You must contact your father again. He must send someone. Anyone who can be here by tomorrow.

Mera Nereus:
I will try.

Young Justice: Phantoms (2021) Episode 14 - Nautical Twilight

The Atlantis 2020 Conference Opening Ceremony - Young Justice: Phantoms (2021)

Held on April 20th 2020 in Poseidonis, the Atlantean Conference Opening Ceremony ended in disaster after King Nanaue Sha’ark of Nanauve, insulted by King Ryus Nereus of Xebel’s refusal to send a delegate to attend, threatened to storm out.

Though Prime Minister Topo of Lemuria was able to talk him down, the palpable hostilities between many of the delegates forced High King Orin to adjourn early, cancelling the prepared activities. Inviting those assembled to enjoy the amenities of the capital, he inadvertently offended some of the representatives, who were disgusted by the city state’s great displays of wealth when their kingdoms were doing significantly worse off.

Not wishing for the conference to end in a similar fashion to that of the day's events, Queen Mera Nereus agreed to parle with her father, personally travelling to Xebel with Commander Ordine (as her guard) to organise an envoy to partake in the proceedings.

Kaldur'ahm's Backstory - Young Justice (2011)

Dick Grayson:
No, usually you sit around the campfire and tell stories.

M'gann M'orzz:
Oh! I would love to hear your story, Kaldur. Could you tell us how you became Aqualad?

Dick Grayson:
I was thinking more of a ghost story type of thing, but I guess ... whatever.

Kaldur'ahm:
Oh. I suppose I could do that if you do not think it will be too boring.

M'gann M'orzz:

Not at all! I would love to hear it!

Kaldur'ahm: (Narration)
Well, I grew up in the city of Shayeris, which is a city in Atlantis. Surface dwellers think all Atlanteans are the same, but our kingdom has many cities, many people, many cultures. When I was twelve, I completed my education and began my mandatory service in the Atlantean Military, which is standard for all that age. After a while I was transferred to the prestigious Conservatory of Sorcery in the Atlantean capital of Poseidonis. Queen Mera is the headmistress of the Conservatory and wife of King Orin, Aquaman.

It was a very different time for me. It was difficult, as it would be for anyone at age fourteen, I suppose, but also a time in my life where I met my friends that I know will be with me for a lifetime.

Then came a day ... a horrible day when Poseidonis was attacked by the Ocean Master. I can remember it vividly, as if it happened only yesterday. It was the day Aquaman nearly met his end.

Aquaman and Ocean Master fought for what seemed like hours. When Aquaman and Ocean Master clashed, it seemed to shake the very foundations of the city.

Ocean Master had gained the upper hand and nearly defeated Aquaman. Correction. Aquaman was defeated.

Garth, a fellow student, and I intervened on the king's behalf. It was the only thing we could think of doing. The danger did not occur to us, the only thing that mattered to us at the time was that our king was in trouble. It may have been one of the most foolish things Garth and I had ever done, as we nearly met our own end.

We had no hope of defeating him whatsoever, but the time we spent engaged in battle against the Ocean Master was time enough for our king to recover.

That was all he needed as Aquaman finally triumphed over Ocean Master. He was able to drive him away from the city and save us all.

Aquaman is a being of two worlds. On the surface world, he fights for justice for all beings. Under the sea he is a leader to many, both carry the weight of responsibilities. Overwhelming responsibilities only even the best of men can carry for so long. Even Aquaman cannot do both forever.

Realising that on the surface both Batman and Green Arrow had taken on apprentices that could one day take over their respective mantels, King Orin had been contemplating the same idea. With this in mind, he approached both Garth and myself with the possibility of becoming his proteges.

I must admit the possibility intrigued me immediately. I had never been to the surface world. And I am the first to admit that I am a bit of an adventurer. Many is the day in class that I would dream of visiting distant oceans and possibly one day even the surface world.

Both Garth and I seriously considered the king's offer. Garth ultimately chose to continue his studies with Queen Mera at the Conservatory of Sorcery. For me, however, the chance to visit the surface world was a dream come true.

So, at the age of fourteen, I became Aqualad.

I miss my friends. Garth, Tula ... but the chance to work with my mentor and king was an opportunity I could not pass up. I like to think the work I am doing makes a difference. The rest of the story you know. Aquaman brought Aqualad to the surface world ... and now I am here with you.

M'gann M'orzz:
Woe, so you wanted to be Aqualad?

Kaldur'ahm:
Yes. The opportunity arose. I could think of no other path.

Young Justice (2011) #5 What's the story?

Kid Flash's Origin - Young Justice (2011)

Wally West:
Yeah? If you think he wanted to be Aqualad so bad? Let me tell you about how I got started.

Wally West: (Narration)
It literally goes back a couple of generations. Each generation of Flash started with a bang! Literally! Jay Garrick was in a freak lab accident. Boom! There it is! During the 40's and 50's he was everywhere!

"The Fastest Man alive" Jay Garrick was the world's first Flash.

Then one day this guy comes along, a huge fan of The Flash, wanting to know all about this Jay Garrick, back in those days Jay didn't really hide his identity. He contacts Jay and the two spend hours and hours talking about his adventures and about the accident that turned him into The Flash. This guy even goes so far as to re-create the accident that created the original. But where Jay Garrick's accident was a total freak thing, this guy recreated the accident under laboratory conditions. He set the whole thing up in a lab and tried to make it happen! Result? Still a big explosion! But, lo and behold he becomes speedy Mcspeed-speed himself! Now he's the Flash! Well, not the original Flash but the new Flash... The Flash we all know!

I mean, there's the Jay Garrick Flash and now there's the new Flash. You know, it just occurred to me that they could probably use different names. Anyway ... this time he's even faster than Flash, well the old Flash ... It gave him even more speed!

Wally West:
Okay, so check this! The second Flash is a fan of the first Flash, Jay Garrick. It turns out great minds think alike, cause I was a fan of the Flash, the second one, not the first one. Well, I was a fan of Jay Garrick, the first one after I got to know him. He was a little before my time.

Wally West: (Narration)
Long story short, one day I was in my uncle's house, stumbled across his notebook and got the shock of my life-time! That was the day I found out my uncle was The Flash! Once the shock passed a bit, I kept reading a journal of all his experiences and experiments. Especially the one that made him The Flash, the second one, not the first ...

Dick Grayson:
We get it already!

Wally West: (Narration)
When I found that out, I would kind of keep hinting to my uncle that The Flash could maybe use a partner.

Barry Allen:
No!

Wally West:
What? Why?

Wally West: (Narration)
I tried to convince him that The Flash could use and probably need a partner. I mean come on, by this time Bat's already had Robbie over here and Green Arrow had Speedy. This was a no-brainer. I've got to admit, Flash was a bit resistant at first.

Barry Allen:
No! No partners! I don't want the responsibility.

Superboy:
Does this sound confusing to anyone else?

Wally West:
Just let me finish and you will be confused no more, Supey. So, having seen his journal just like he saw the previous Flash's, I try to re-create the experiment with my own chemistry set. And what do you know? I was able to do it!

Kaldur'ahm:
The experiment actually worked?

Wally West:
Well... not at first, actually.

Iris West:
This is not your fault.

Barry Allen:
They were my notes, Iris. Of course, this is my fault.

Wally West: (Narration)
It didn't happen at first, but a couple of weeks later, I was off and running. I couldn't wait to show Flash! When he saw that I had powers, how could he not want me as his partner? You guys should've seen his face when I showed him.

Wally West:
I can be your partner. We can make a great team. I could be ... Kid Flash.

Wally West: (Narrator)
This time he jumped at the chance to have a partner. Flash couldn't wait to show the world!

Barry Allen:
Okay ... you can be Kid Flash. But you do exactly as I say when I say it.

Wally West: (Narrator)
The Flash was beyond ecstatic. He couldn't contain his excitement. It was the greatest day in the history of the world. Why you ask?

Dick Grayson:
Just for the record, we didn't.

Wally West: (Narrator)

That's the day the world got Kid Flash.

Wally West:
You. Are. Welcome.

Dick Grayson:

Yeah. We're all thrilled you're so speed-capable.

Wally West:
What's the matter? Jealous?

Dick Grayson:
Sheeyeah, right. Jealous of you?
